As someone who has played and taught guitars for more than 14 years, I think I am reasonably qualified to review guitars. I have bought the Yamaha FG700s guitar umpteenth number of times for my students. I don't personally own this guitar but I have played on Yamaha FG700s guitar of my students for several years now and it is as good as owning one for my self. But for some one who has played many expensive guitars, it is equally difficult to ignore things that are particularly bad about a low priced beginner's guitar like the Yamaha FG700S.
